DOMESTIC PRODUCTS & SERVICES

Worm Farm Waste Systems is the most natural, environmentally sustainable solution for your site.

The single chamber, non mechanical system processes sewage, waste water and organic garbage using the state of the art worm technology.

Our experience with this technolgy stretches back to 1996.  Over that period much research and development has been been undertaken ensuring this waste treatment system delivers exactly what it has been designed to do and that is process serage, waste water and organic garbage converting it into a clear, aerated liquid fertiliser.

An entry chute is installed above ground.  This offers the occupants easy access directly into the chamber where the worms are located.  Food waste including dairy, citrus, onions, garlic, meat, bones, vegetable peelings, fruit and table scraps, weeds ( please shake the soil from the roots), small prunings, dead heads from the annuals, roses, agapanthus, thistles, docks, pattersons curse, cape weed and other weeds that produce seeds which require containment to prevent spreading.

90% less garbage will leave your site for landfill.  Imagine if every household in the country saved 90% of the garbage they dispose into landfill.  we would not have the landfill issues we now have.

The Worm Farm Waste System has a huge void capacity for organic garbage.  Unlike other systems which can ony accept very small quantities and generally only through an insinkerator, the Worm Farm Waste System offers a solution which uses minimal energy for all organic garbage listed above.

All waste water and sewage is processed and kept onsite and re-used as a liquid fertiliser just under the ground as a liquid fertiliser for your plant.  We dispose of this natural liquid fertiliser high in the soil to promote growth in the most biologically active soil area.  Trees, shrubs, roses, annuals, lawn and hedges to name a few areas this liquid will add value to your site.

The worm castings are absorbed into the soil as fertiliser, combined with the processed waste water, plants will thrive.  The liquid fertilser also contains worm eggs which have been washed out of the sytem.  These hatch and the worms live in the disposal areas scouring and aerating the soil.  Even heavy clays will impriove as a result of this process.

All systems are designed site specific.  For dwellings the number of bedrooms and the soil type are taken into consideration when designing the system size and the effluent disposal area.

It is always advisable to undertake a Land Capability Assessment as part of the Council permit process.  Most councils require this document.  We can assist with some companies who are licenced to prepare thses documents in your area.

Let us assist with the Council permit application.  We require 2 site plans, 2 house plans, the Land Capablity Assessment and a cheque made payable to the Council for the permit fee.  There is no charge for this service.  We are speaking with Councils all over Australia every day.  Some of the terminologies can sound like another language to someone who is unfamiliar with the process.

If your site is hilly, a gravity system will be suitable.  This system requires no power.  For flat sites we install a small sump pump to lift the worm liquid from the bottom of the system and deliver it to the effluent disposal area.  The sump pump is only activated on demand for a couple of minutes when required.

NO SERVICE FEES.

Unlike most waste treatment companies who charge a quarterly or annual service fee, A & A Worm Farn Waste Systems will visit your site 6 months after the installation, 18 months after that visit and then each subsequent 2 years.  There will be no charge for these visits.

WHO TAKES CARE OF THE INSTALLATION?

Trained and accredited installers who are directly employed by this company will install your system.  We do not engage the services of sub contractors or the local plumber.

Our installer will arrive in a truck carry an excavator and all other equipment need to conduct the installation.

The installation will only commence after an onsite meeting with you the owner to decide where the Worm Farm Waste System and effluent disposal area will be located.

URBAN MYTHS

The Worm Farm Waste System will fail as a result of medication including antibiotics and worm tablets.

Urban myth - the body absorbs the medication and the remainder leaving the body as human waste is heavily diluted the effect is zero.

Household cleaners will kill the worms

Urban myth - all household cleaners are heavily diluted with water and the effect on the worm population is zero.
