Grand Designs For Worm Farm Waste System

In 2012 we installed a Worm Farm Waste System at an Inverloch property that has featured on the LifeStyle Channel’s program, Grand Designs Australia. The Inverloch ‘Sand Dune House’, located along the Inverloch-Cape Paterson Road, belongs to Glenn and Kate Morris and was constructed by local builder, Martin Builders.  The home has caught the attention of many a people who travel the coastal route, unmistakable with its space-ship like appearance.

Grand Designs For Worm Farm Waste System

Martin Builders took approximately 14 months to build and construct the very unique house. The whole project was a great one to be involved with and it was a real team effort,” Dave martin said.  “It offered a heap of different challenges. We had plans to work off but making them work on site is a different story sometimes. It was a matter of getting what the architect and owners envisaged on paper and actually making it work on site. The home is truly unique and it was a very technical project.

Grand Designs Australia’s resident architecture expert, David Hallet from Archicentre, was full of praise for the Inverloch home.  “The Inverloch ‘barchan dune’ house is a precious treasure… a glinting, glistening artefact that speaks volumes about its coastal location,” Hallet said. “Inspired by nature and the surrounding landscape, the house owes its existence to a holy trinity of architectural vision, construction excellence and client commitment.

A Worm Farm Waste System is the Perfect Choice

“When planning and designing our Sustainable house/lifestyle, we elected to install the A & A Worm Farm  in 2012. It has been a huge success (for eight years now) playing its critical role in dealing with our sewage, organic food scraps and plant cuttings. This amazing technology has been trouble-free (and odour-free!) since initial installation.

Living on this property would have been impossible without the Worm Farm Waste System. Congrats to the team for a brilliant system in which the worms do all the work! A system which surpasses the old-fashioned Septic Tank System in every way. I hope that anyone contemplating building in un sewered areas adopts a Worm Farm Waste System.”

Happy for a phone call from anyone who needs assurance that they are making the right decision.
