The Worm Farm Waste System at Select Harvest Carina West has been designed and built to accommodate all wastewater and organic matter generated by the Almond processing plant.
The state-of-the-art primary processing facility at Carina West in north-west Victoria is the primary processing facility has the capacity to process 22,000 metric tonnes of almonds in the peak season. The processing plant is capable of meeting the ever increasing demand for both in-shell and kernel product. The processing plant in Thomastown processes over 10,000 metric tonnes of product per annum.
Select Harvest is one of Australia’s largest almond exporters to India, China, the Middle East and Europe.
